What is jug fishing? Step 1: Collect empty milk jugs, laundry detergent bottles, 2 liter soda bottles, piece of swim noodles, or any similar flotation devices. Step 2: Tie a fishing line to each jug along with a weight and hook. Step 3: Add your favorite catfish bait. Step 4: Get in a boat and throw the jugs into the water where you think the biggest catfish lives. Step 5: Wait for the jugs to start bobbing up and down and then go collect your catch. [more] 2010 FROG GIGGIN' TOURNAMENT RECAP  June 7, 2010Nashville may have had the biggest flood since Noah in May, but June brought the flood of frogs. On the evening of June 4th, frog hunters gathered for the 3rd Annual Back 40 Outreach Frog Gigging Tournament. It was a beautiful evening for gigging adventures. All teams had a successful night of giggin' and met for a tasty breakfast Saturday morning. This event is quickly becoming a classic Back 40 tradition...[more] 2010 BACK 40 FISHING TOURNAMENT RECAP  April 14, 2010The 6th Annual Jeff Lambert Memorial Fishing Tournament was a truly blessed event. The weather was picture perfect and the fish catching was excellent again this year. All participants were able to catch fish and we caught more fish over 6 pounds than ever. [more] BACK 40 EXCURSION TO HOOTIN' HOLLOW  March 2010Back 40 took a timeout and headed to Hootin' Hollow for a weekend of eating fish, riding four wheelers, and shooting firearms.
