September 2, 2009 Yesterday was the most beautiful first day of September we have ever seen. We thank God for providing us the perfect weather and we would also like to thank everyone that had a part in making the 2009 Kyle Hutchison Memorial Dove Hunt a big success. Thanks to Jason Koch, Kerry Risley, and Tom Herring for cooking up the finest pork chop sandwiches in the world. Thanks to all the hunters that participated and donated over $1,000 for the Kyle Hutchison Foundation. Last but not least, thanks to the many doves that showed up to make this a great day. Although the doves were slow to show up, patience paid off and several folks went home with their limit of birds. Kyle Hutchison left us with a great example of service. I hope we take the lessons he taught us through his actions and continue to pass them on to others. The five young men that Kyle Hutchison mentored for so many years are now in college this fall. Back 40 Outreach asks that you continue to pray for these guys and pray that Kyle’s dreams of them graduating from college will come true.  |
