 Over 500, many dressed in their hunting camo, packed into our lodge (that is our auditorium decorated for the occasion) Tuesday night, August 23rd, to hear Phil Robertson - the Duck Commander. The nationally known speaker shared stories about his duck calling, his hunting, and his personal walk with Jesus. He has shared his faith with hundreds from his duck blind and thousands of others as he has traveled around the country speaking. He has often used his "waders" for baptisms there in the ponds and creeks where he hunts. Our Local Evangelism Team and our Men's Ministry Team joined forces with Back 40 Outreach to put on this year's 2nd Annual Wild Game Dinner. Many came to taste some of the wild game, some for the fellowship and others to share their faith with friends and neighbors. Phil demonstrated a lot of "duck" calls - including his "call" to serve the Lord.
